One time ... Sheila said me ...
"Men do not have enough intelligence and desire to pretend that
everything is wonderful in public, and for women it is like work, you need to
smile and create the illusion of happiness"
But ... i couldn't really understand her words.
Only few years later ... seeing her in the company of her lover ... in
some of the worst moments they had together .... I've finally understood what
she meant by that.
So ... i've asked her ... "Why do you still pretend ... even in
such moments?!
Why you don't ... simply ... break up?!"
Smiling .... she replied ... "Because near him ... i have the
life of a princess..."
So ... he was ruining her emotionally ... but on the other hand he
knew to induce her the illusion of being a princess.
He bought her ... expensive gifts.
They were travelling ... a lot.
But ... also cheated on her.
Sometimes ... beat her.
And ... in fact ... it was all ... an abstract emotional
balance ... done so, so often ... by years.
So ... Sheila acted ok all time... for the sake of the sensation of
being ... a princess near him.
Pretending.
Yes ... pretending she is blind.
But she was not.
He was the one trying to also induce her a blindness ... for all his
stupid actions.
And ... all was looking many times ... as a real charade.
Unfortunately ... a real case scenario.
Repeated ... by years.
One day ... i wanted to ask him if he actually sees in her ... a
princess but also a Cinderella ... cause the story itself was ... too weird ...
to be understood.
I mean ... following the logic ... of all what i saw.
But ... i've just told to Sheila ... "You live a nonsense life.
And it's funny cause ... such an intelligent person as you ... can
accept such a life.
But ... of course is ... your life."
Meditating ... going deeper ... also another weird question came into
my mind ... "What if all was her own projection ... of her own image?!
What if she had moments when she believed that she was indeed ... a
princess ... but also moments when she saw herself as being Cinderella?!"
Of course ... is too weird to come up with such a theory ... but ... i
really believe today ... that all we see in life is just the projection of our
thoughts.
And maybe ... we should not be ... so surprised that life itself looks
the way it looks ...
