Needless to say My Small Pony games extended to be massively popular next first technology of children spent my youth but their designs and types transformed, and copycat products and services got onto the market to compete with them. The inception of My Small Pony toys followed the strongly connected My Very Pony games, their National predecessor, that were presented to the marketplace in 1981. My Very Pony was produced by Romper Room under the licence of Hasbro, even though Hasbro later acquired the patent. My Fairly Horse was much larger compared to the My Little Ponies that we know, and her colouring was much more earthy than the very, pale colours of My Small Horse, with major shaded accessories.

The initial technology of My Little Horse toys went from 1983 to 1995 (1992 in the US) and there were initially only six small ponies. These unique six ponies were all Planet ponies, that is they had no wings or horns, unlike later small ponies. They had soft, brushable manes and tails and their own personal representations on their flanks. Each small pony came with a ribbon and a brush for grooming them.

Among the first My Little Ponies premiered with the Brushing Parlour (Pretty Parlour in the US) in 1983. Subsequent the first Planet ponies came Unicorns and Pegasus ponies, and child ponies became available in all three designs - Earth, Unicorn and Pegasus forms. The early children were related to their "moms" but smaller and in slightly softened colours. Later infants were given more distinct identities of these own.

In 1997 (1999 in the US and internationally in 2003) the My Little Pony manufacturer was re-launched by Hasbro, and loved an enormous revival in popularity (although for most they'd hardly ever really gone out as My Little Pony toys were sustained symbols representing childhood dreams). These second technology ponies were made in new poses. They were smaller and thinner than the original first generation of ponies, with lengthier feet, jewel eyes and turning heads. Most of them were World ponies but there have been several unicorns, though number Pegasus ponies and only two child ponies.

Most of the Era 2 My Little Horse toys were discontinued in 2003 when another, and current, technology of little ponies was introduced. Era 3 contains the re-release of some unique ponies in different poses or outfits and many of them have shiny bodies and matte representations on their sides.

From 2003 to 2005 only World ponies were released, then in 2005 Pegasus ponies were released and in 2006 Unicorn ponies. In 2008 Hasbro narrowed their My Small Horse toys down to eight ponies and no new ponies will undoubtedly be launched, while some older designs is going to be re-released.
